Consists of 21 acute beds and 23 intermediate beds. At least 1 year of NICU experience preferred NICU provides a comprehensive service to premature infants and any newborn requiring continuous assessment, technology, immediate intervention, or prompt treatment. Neonates/Newborns are admitted from Labor and Delivery (L&D), Family Centered Care Unit (FCCU), Family Centered Care Nursery (FCCN), Emergency Department (ED) or transferred from a referral hospital.
