A caregiver in this position works 11:00AM – 11:30PM or 3:00PM – 11:30PM. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Collect, document and report patient data and observations. Implement care plans as directed by an RN and contribute to care plan revisions. Administer medications and/or treatments authorized by a provider and observe patients for adverse reactions . Perform routine laboratory tests. Educate patients and family members.
