Performs functions related to transfers or discharges as required by regulation. Builds and maintains strong, communicative relationships with the team. Provides exemplary customer service. Performs general office duties/projects including but not limited answering phones, documentation/order processing, copying, filing, mailing, and obtaining/ordering office supplies. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing. A valid NYS license as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Key Patient Populations and Procedures: Nurses on the 5200 Unit will develop specialized clinical skills in managing a diverse and complex patient population, including: Complex Cardiac Patients: Care for patients with multiple co-existing medical conditions requiring specialized cardiac drips, such as amiodarone, cardizem, dobutamine, milrinone, nitroglycerin, lidocaine, and angiomax.
