Adhere to existing individual nursing care plans to meet the cultural, educational, emotional, mental, physical, and social needs of students. Ensure compliance with IEPs by having medically necessary equipment available as needed. Adhere to state regulations regarding proper administration and storage of student medication. Follow existing policies and procedures to ensure optimum health of all staff and students. Provide vaccinations to staff as needed. In the absence of the School Nurse, collaborate with agencies within and outside of the community to ensure continuity of service and care for students and families. Lift and/or restrain students as necessary according to training and district protocols. Overview Yale New Haven Hospital is currently offering part-time Patient Care Associate (PCA) positions across various adult inpatient units. These positions are available for flexible shifts, including Day, Evening, and Night shifts. Qualifications Education : A high school diploma or GED is required.
