Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: The Nursing Care Coordinator is responsible for coordinating direct nursing services to patients in collaboration with unit staff and also for coordinating nursing personnel services. The NCC in this role functions in both a managerial and clinical role and assures adherence to and support of institutional philosophy and policy in nursing practice. Through collaboration with other disciplines and with nursing colleagues on other shifts, the Nursing Care Coordinator promotes continuity of approach in both the managerial and clinical areas.
