Job Posting Summary **$2,000 Sign on Bonus Offered If Hired** Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a CT Technologist to our CT Scan department at our Baptist Nassau Crossing location. Additional responsbilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards. Promoting good will amongst co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients. Maintain compliance with mandatory education and health requirements. Identifing, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy. This opening is for a full-time nights shift. RNs on this unit typically see a 6:1 ratio and are accountable for providing care to patients, adult and geriatric alike, who require advanced care. Baptist Nassau is a highly advanced, extremely well-equipped community hospital that provides a full spectrum of in- and outpatient services and 24-hour emergency care to coastal communities in northeast Florida and southeast Georgia. As a Registered Nurse on this Med/Surg unit, you will be responsible for: Providing for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) Organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel Coordination of care provided by ancillary services. Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care.
