Description Full-time CMA/LPN Clinical Technicians St. Croix Falls, WI 3 positions currently available: 1.0 FTE Internal Medicine/Pediatrics position 0.8 FTE Specialty Float position 0.8-1.0 FTE Oncology position Hours would be Monday - Friday with an occasional weekend if needed. These positions are responsible for planning and managing patient care according to patient need. Responsibilities also include rooming and interviewing patients, recording medical history and physical condition information including taking and recording patient vital signs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under direction of provider. Description St. Croix Health is looking for a part time (0.6 FTE), Nursing House Supervisor to join our team! This position works day shifts (7 am - 7:30 pm), every third weekend and holiday. The House Supervisor is a representative of patient care/hospital administration on all shifts. The position safeguards the quality of patient care, meeting the needs and goals of St. Croix Health. The House Supervisor is responsible for the management and coordination of all hospital departments and personnel on the off shifts and weekends in the absence of direct line managers. Overall, the House Supervisor serves as an advocate for patient care, staff, and the hospital as a whole. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Competent in the Emergency Department Nurse Staff Role Act as a liaison between patient care units, support departments and organizational leadership, medical staff and other disciplines to assure safe and effective delivery of care in accordance with hospital policy/procedures and protocols or other clinical guidelines. Support overall patient care departments operating goals and needs by managing the off shifts, weekends, and holidays according to established plans for safe and effective staffing to assure high quality patient care. Collaborate with all disciplines, providers, and patient’s families to achieve mutually-defined patient care goals. Provide shift oversight for patient care practice, nursing care accountabilities for safe and effective delivery of care. Ensure uninterrupted quality of care by assisting with transitions of care. Analyze and evaluates complexities and volumes of nursing care required and adjusts staffing resources accordingly. Initiate discipline as needed to address emergent needs in any department during the off shift and weekend coverage and when there is not a designated dept. supervisor readily available or in house. Consult immediately with department leader and/or administrator to review situations and process to follow. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and risk management activities. Make critical adjustments and contacts to obtain needed equipment, services, resources. Conduct regular rounds to all clinical care units to ensure resource needs and clinical care needs are discussed and solutions explored/implemented to support overall goals and patient care needs. Provide oversight and acts as a resource for clinical staff. Intervene in patient/family or provider complaints, supporting effective communication and conflict resolution. Provides necessary documentation of events and initiates appropriate follow-up. Act as a liaison to Infection Control; serving as clinical resource, ensuring negative air pressure status is achieved, assisting with employee TB skin testing, fit testing if necessary, obtaining necessary consents, and any other necessary function to assure that all infection control practices are in place and followed on a shift-by-shift basis. Ensure compliance with all regulations, hospital policies/procedures and protocols to maintain a safe patient care environment. Serve as the risk management liaison; channeling issues in accordance with hospital policies/procedures and regulatory requirements. Supports timely and accurate reporting of all patient/visitor incidences, assists to monitor, and support infection control and security standards established by the organization/department. This position manages the day-to-day operation of the unit to maximize patient safety, clinical outcomes, customer satisfaction and inter-departmental workflow. The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for performing many basic care tasks for patients, like grooming, dressing, bathing, eating and exercising. They also assist the nursing staff with medical tasks like taking blood, monitoring vitals with medical equipment and reporting patient behavior and wellbeing. Their role is to ensure patients are comfortable and well cared working under the scope of a Registered Nurse. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Assist patients to perform ADLs, such as getting out of bed, bathing, dressing, using the toilet, standing, walking, or exercising Delivers efficient/excellent care to all patients on the unit. Description St. Croix Health is looking for a full-time (0.75 FTE) Registered Nurse to work in our Med/Surg department. This position will work straight night shifts (7pm - 7:30am), every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday. The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed healthcare professional who delivers therapeutic, patient- and family-centered care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The RN conducts comprehensive nursing assessments including physical, psychosocial, functional, and educational readiness evaluations to inform individualized care plans. The RN develops, implements, and continuously evaluates these plans to support effective treatment, safe discharge planning, and continuity of care. The RN delegates and supervises care in accordance with the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act, applying clinical judgment and ethical decision-making. In this role, the RN actively integrates evidence-based practice, participates in quality improvement initiatives, and maintains accountability for ongoing professional development. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Provide skilled patient care Conduct comprehensive and systematic assessment of patients’ behavioral, physical, physiological, and psychosocial health using interviews, observations, and physical exams. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, families, and communities, including evaluation of home and work environments (role specific) to identify potential health or safety risks. Report patient status and any notable changes to the physician during procedures involving anesthesia. Evaluate and support the needs of patients’ family members and caregivers to promote holistic, patient-centered care.
