Overview Foundation Health Partners is seeking a Per Diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our highly experienced team at the Fairbanks Memorial Hospital Wound & Ostomy Clinic. The Opportunity: Join our dedicated team at the outpatient Wound and Ostomy Clinic at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, where you'll play a key role in providing individualized, evidence-based care. This position offers the opportunity to manage acute and chronic wounds and provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative ostomy care. You'll be supported by experienced physicians and certified wound care nurses who are highly invested in their work and our patients. Compensation: Pay starts at $82.76/hr and increases with experience. Schedule: M-F outpatient clinic. Flexible per diem scheduling. No call, no nights, no weekends. Patient Panel: Outpatient setting focusing on acute and chronic wound management, ostomy care, and patient education. Team: Work alongside a collaborative and highly experienced team, including a robust PRN provider staff with 70+ years of combined experience. Must be approved to practice as a Family NP (FNP) by the State Board of Nursing by proof of license/certification. Requires current RN license in state of practice. Must be certified to practice by the State Board of Nursing within a particular population as a nurse practitioner. Requires personal DEA license or must have prescribing and dispensing authority granted by the state board of nursing. Additional technical and professional certifications may be required based on type of nurse practitioner and scope of delineation document under medical staff services for an individual facility. Exhibits an exemplary professional demeanor and interpersonal relationship skills. Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications and database management. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS DNP or PhD preferred. Current BLS certification preferred. A minimum of 3 years previous relevant experience preferred.
