Procedures performed in the cath lab include the following: left and right heart catheterizations along with percutaneous intervention as necessary, intracoronary ultrasound, rotational atherectomy, balloon pump insertion, Impella insertion, valvuloplasty, left atrial appendage closure, catheter-directed thrombolysis for pulmonary embolization, structural procedures (TAVI/TAVR), neurovascular cerebral angiograms, stroke treatment, carotid stenting, treatment of cerebral aneurysms with coiling and pipeline interventions, peripheral and renal angiograms with intervention as necessary, Watchmen, CardioMEMs, and Electrophysiology (cardiac devices, ablations, PVI’s, laser lead extractions). RNs in the Cath Lab have the opportunity to train in different specialties including electrophysiology, stroke and interventional radiology. Schedule: Primary hours fall Monday-Friday 0700-1730 with call requirements. Sign on bonus available for eligible candidates!
