Inpatient Registered Nurse - Days - PRN

Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is seeking an energetic Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Team on a PRN basis! The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for: Directs and provides professional nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum, while complying with the Arizona Nurse Practice Act. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care. Provides supervision and guidance to other members of the surgical nursing unit; and may be authorized, in the absence of the manager of patient care services, to make decisions affecting the nursing unit. PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse The PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. This role includes continual evaluation of patient conditions, assisting physicians in procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation using sterile techniques, and delivering comprehensive patient care as they recover from general anesthesia and/or sedation. Responsibilities also include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients and families in preparation for discharge. What You Will Do (Job Summary): The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team.
