The lead will ensure proper training and mentoring of new APP hires, organizing their onboarding and setting up local mentors when indicated. The lead will interview all APP candidates and involve other APPs for the interview process, as needed. The lead will oversee schedule management and patient backlog trends, making proactive adjustments to ensure operational efficiency and maintain timely, safe patient care. The lead will guide patient care initiatives and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure effective planning, implementation, and rollout of departmental initiatives.
