Patient Care Associate- 3 East

Assists nurses with direct and indirect patient care activities. Prepares patients rooms for occupancy after discharge. Additional responsibilities includes blood draws and EKG's. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Observes patient's mental, emotional and physical conditions and report any changes to the nursing staff. Performs non-critical medical and therapeutic procedures based on medical instructions as directed by nursing staff. May perform special procedures as required and directed (i.e., blood draws/EKGs).
