Responsibilities: Create a comforting and safe environment in the home. Demonstrate sensitivity to the patient's individual needs and preferences. Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in patient's home. Promote harmony between family and caregivers. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, their families, and other caregivers. Job Description: As a direct support professional, you will: Work directly with senior citizens in their own home, providing compassionate care and support. Provide hands-on support at the clients' home, including individualized supports in transferring, bathing and grooming. Maintain a safe work environment by following universal precautions and attention to infection control policies. Perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and ensure clients' comfort and well-being. Be an essential worker, available for holidays, and capable of working weekends. Other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications: Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds, stand for periods of time, bend, push, and provide physical intervention as necessary. Must be able to read, write, and understand English. Must be 18 years of age (or older.) Benefits: Competitive hourly pay rate.
