Supervises and coordinates activities of nursing personnel in a nursing home. Promotes and restores resident health by developing day to day management and long-term planning of the resident care area. Demonstrated high levels of experience or expertise in crisis intervention, teaching/coaching, and diagnostic/monitoring with prior telephone triage nursing experience preferred. Must be flexible, with strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and handle pressure. Must possess excellent human relations/interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, with ability to form instant rapport. Must have demonstrated ability to handle delicate situations and to communicate effectively with members of the cancer center team, physicians and other referral sources, patients/families, and community agencies/institutions Must demonstrate good judgment and critical thinking skills; Must possess strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, documentation, and evaluation.
