Responsibilities Verify plan of care with the RN prior to each visit. Collaborate with physician and RN frequently to ensure patient needs are being met; Notify them as soon as possible when patient condition changes. Teach patients and caregivers self-care techniques. Description Summary: The Nurse Practitioner, under the supervision of the Medical Director, delivers primary health care to students and fulfills such duties as assessment, planning, teaching, and counseling.
