Job Description The Medication Technician @ Woodland Terrace is responsible for the delivery of quality care by encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being. Part Time: Memory Care Week 1: Wed 7p-10p Friday 3p-11p Week 2: Wed 3p-11p Thurs 3p-7p **Must have a PCA or CNA in addition to Medication Technician certification** Pay Range: $18-$20/hr *varies based on certification / experience Paid Vacation / Free Meal each shift PCA: must be able to provide certificate of completion for 80 hour training course CNA: must be licensed in North Carolina verifiable through online registry MT: must be a licensed Medication Aide verifiable through online registry What will I do every day? Assist residents with simple requests as needed Supervise or assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation and other activities Provide companionship and develop strong resident relations Respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures Document care provided to residents consistent Provide input to assure that resident individual service plans are current Review 24 hour report and care check lists regularly What will I need to be successful in this role? Full Time / Part Time 1st (7a-3p) 2nd (3p-11p) 3rd shift (11pm-7am) Medication Technician **Must have a CNA certification** ** Pay Range $21/hr - $23/hr CNA ** Pay Range $17/hr - $20/hr **based on certifications & experience Openings are in our Skilled, Memory Care & Assisted Living Units. Observe residents for any changes in condition and report to supervisor Assist residents with simple requests as needed Document and report changes of condition Provide medication set up and assistance Log in medications from pharmacies, verify physician’s orders and communicate any concerns Track all medications and re-order as needed Track residence vital signs, diabetic testing and/or insulin injection, ambulation, etc. What will I need to be successful in this role?
