A Licensed Practical Nurse performs a wide variety of patient care activities and comfort measures for assigned hospital patients in the acute, ambulatory and school nurse settings. This position is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing practice and for managing supplies and equipment with the direction of the provider, department manager or RN in charge. The LPN will promote teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. The LPN will follow orders for care and treatment of the patient and will adhere to the policies and procedures of Henry County Hospital. BLS, Graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nurses, Current licensed in the State of Ohio are all requirements of the position. 
Graduate of accredited school for Licensed Practical Nurses with current Ohio LPN license or graduate from an accredited school for Medical Assistants. BLS certification required. Previous experience as an LPN or Medical Assistant in a hospital setting preferred. A Licensed Practical Nurse/MA performs a wide variety of activities, as directed by the Registered Nurse.
