Position Title: Weekend PRN Inpatient General Psychiatrist Location: Ocala, FL Specializing in acute crisis stabilization, psychiatric care, and detox services, The Vines Hospital serves adolescents, adults and senior adult patients struggling with addiction or mental health issues. Position Overview: Employment Type: Hospital Employed PRN Schedule / Hours: On-site, Weekend rounding on Saturday & Sunday, Vacation Coverage, and Holidays Patient Volume: Will vary, ages 12 and older Location: Ocala, FL Practice Setting: Inpatient ages 12 and older Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers and Therapists Key Responsibilities: Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients. Participate in daily treatment team meetings. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines. Responsibilities The Vines Hospital is currently recruiting for a PRN Admissions RN The Admissions Nurse is Responsible for being able to perform all aspects of The Vines Hospital’s intake and admission process, including efficient and effective handling of inquiry calls, knowledge of and communication with referral sources; providing hospital and program information to individuals, agencies, facilities, and professionals; making outside referrals, when appropriate; assessing and triaging an individual’s mental health status; making patient safety and level of care recommendations to The Vines Hospital’s physician; identifying insurance benefits, pre-certification of patient care; completing all admission requirements; communicating patient safety concerns and pertinent patient information to unit nursing staff and documenting all necessary information in Med Series 4. The RN will review packets, accept and admit patients. This position requires a person to work with minimal supervision and will work with all facility units: business office, medical staff, medical records, utilization review, marketing, and nursing. The Vines' Admissions department is an exciting atmosphere where we help patients make decisions to seek help. In the Admissions department, we work together as a team. With 1 in 5 adults suffering from a mental illness, the Admissions RN must be able to adapt and flow to the ever changing needs of our patients. Ability to relate to those emotionally disturbed and in crisis.
