Position Title: Full-time Inpatient General Psychiatrist

Location: Ocala, FL
Specializing in acute crisis stabilization, psychiatric care, and detox services, The Vines Hospital serves adolescents, adults and senior adult patients struggling with addiction or mental health issues. Our programs boast a committed and expert multidisciplinary treatment team dedicated to providing the highest level of care.

Position Overview:

Employment Type: Hospital Employed Inpatient General Psychiatrist
Schedule / Hours: On-site Monday-Friday schedule
Call: one night a week after hours telephone call, 1:4 weekend rounding
Patient Volume: Will vary, ages 12 and older, caseload numbers vary
Location: Ocala, FL
Practice Setting: Inpatient ages 12 and older
Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers and Therapists

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
