Job Summary: The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) reviews with the responsible attending anesthesiologist the pre anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient. Such evaluation may indicate the need for additional studies or consultation. The CRNA may perform this evaluation under the supervision of the responsible attending anesthesiologist. Job Summary: The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned nursing area(s) in order to facilitate and deliver comprehensive quality nursing care and to manage the environment in which care is given. Job Summary: Provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to patients under the supervision of a licensed medical practitioner or health professional. Works within their full scope of practice and ensures that high quality and safety is consistently delivered. Reviews and prepares patient charts prior to patient appointment. Performs various duties related to the patient appointment and medical record, such as vital signs, problems, medications, pharmacy and health history. Able to act as a liaison between patients, providers, office staff and outside contacts. Ensures smooth provider work-flow, solving problems and notifying staff and patients of provider delays. Capable of collecting samples from patients. Cleans and restocks rooms. Prepares patients as required. Capable of anticipating both provider and patient needs. Assists other staff with insurance authorizations, scheduling tests and surgeries. Adheres to practice policies and procedures. Performs all other duties as assigned.
