Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Qualifications & Responsibilities: Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License Previous long-term care experience is preferred Prior experience in inpatient and palliative care is preferred Prior experience managing staff is preferred Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care Conduct nursing rounds on all units’ multiple times throughout the shift Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Schedule & Benefits: Schedule: Full-time, dayshift, On-call rotation Comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including health, dental, vision and paid time off (PTO) Tuition Reimbursement for eligible employees Career growth and advancement opportunities Complete Care is an equal opportunity employer.
