Licensed Registered Nurses are needed for full-time roles within K-12 schools in the Soldotna, AK area. These contract positions offer an opportunity to provide essential healthcare services to students across multiple school settings during the current school year. Two positions are available: Position 1: Based at an elementary school near Central Kenai/Soldotna, providing daily onsite nursing care. Position 2: Itinerant role covering one elementary school, three K-12 schools, and one middle school in the Homer, AK area. Responsibilities include: Administering routine and emergency nursing care to students in accordance with school policies Managing student health records and medication administration Collaborating with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to create supportive health plans Providing health education and promoting wellness initiatives among students and staff Responding promptly to injuries or illness in the school setting Qualified candidates will have: Current RN licensure in the state of Alaska Experience or strong interest in school nursing, especially K-12 environments Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong communication and organizational skills CPR certification is preferred These positions are contract roles spanning from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY), ideal for nurses seeking meaningful work in education-focused healthcare.
