The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care to the residents and supervises the day-to-day activities performed by the Nursing Assistants. The LPN is responsible for carrying out the physicians’ orders, including, but not limited to: Medication administration, treatments and resident assessments. Unit based responsibilities for data collection related to status of patients, ongoing and measuring responses, treatment and procedures, equipment maintenance and reinforcing patient education.
