What You’ll Do: Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities to enhance their quality of life. Health Monitoring: Monitor clients’ physical and emotional well-being, including blood sugar management if applicable. Observe and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Assist with medication reminders and ensure clients are following prescribed treatment plans. Transportation: Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and social outings as needed. Ensure the client’s safety during transportation, assisting with getting in and out of vehicles if necessary. Maintain a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle.
