Your role may also include providing companionship and support during appointments and errands. Caregiver Qualifications: One year of personal or professional caregiving experience. Proof of a negative TB skin test within the past 12 months. High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred. Ability to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance. Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking). Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance. Pass a background check. CNA, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred but not required.
