We see everything from major traumas (approximately 300 per year) to STEMIs, and strokes. We also have a certified Forensic Nurse Examination program. We are proficient in EMTALA laws with our stabilization and transfer experience of acutely emergent patients, supported through our affiliation and partnership with Flight for Life and other EMS Services. Most of our patients are general critical care (resp, sepsis, post op, CHF, some cardiac). Our department has great teamwork, autonomy and flexibility with self-scheduling.
