RESPONSIBILITIES OF A STNA: Care for residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, under the direction of a licensed nurse. Perform all duties in accordance with facility and Federal and State standards. Assist RN's and LPNs Perform ADLs, such as bathing, dressing, serving meals, feeding, ambulating, turning, and positioning. Maintain clean living conditions for residents. Make sure all reports and records are completed in a timely manner. QUALIFICATIONS OF A STNA: Must have an active Certification as a STNA in the state of OH Experience preferred, not required As a Whispering Hills employee, you will receive benefits including PTO, Health Insurance, Dental and Vision Insurance. Description A Brief Overview This position is responsible for performing basic Medical Assistant duties. What You Will Do Facilitates unit operations by managing patient flow. Assist with front desk duties specific to department, including scheduling patients, collecting and verifying patient payor information and other patient documentation. Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
