Responsibilities Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8.5 hours between 7:00am and 6:30pmNo Weekends, No HolidaysNo Call, No Call-Back Job Specific Position Duties: The duties include, but are not limited to the following: CORE Duties for NP: • Provide a full range of outcome-based nurse practitioner services in accordance with privileges granted by the MTF (e.g., supervise and provide general screening and medical care and examinations of patients for routine, acute and chronic conditions involving any and all organ systems; provide immunizations; diagnose, treat, and counsel patients as indicated).• Technically direct and teach other staff, provide evidenced-based educational lectures and participate in in-service training to staff members. • Diagnose and treat patients with common acute conditions, chronic illnesses, or minor trauma within accepted protocols, clinical practice guidelines, Nurse Practice Acts, and/or in consultation with a physician.• Promote preventive care and health maintenance including annual physicals, positive health behaviors and self-care through both formal and individual education and counseling.• Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization. • Recognize conditions that require isolation and ensure universal precautions are used in all patient encounters.• Attend staff meetings to provide case discussion, continuing education, and continuous quality improvement and safety. Duties- Specific: In addition to the duties listed in the basic contract, the following additional or supplemental duties are required for HCWs on this TO. The duties for the HCW are as follows but not limited to:• The HCW shall provide services within the scope of their competencies and the applicable duties provided in the basic contract. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: * Education: Master in Nursing for NP; from accredited program (ACEN or CCNE) * Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in primary care setting, within the past 3 years * License: Active, unrestricted license as an NP * Board Certification: ANCC or AANP for Nurse Practitioner; or the recognized national nursing certification organization for the specialty area of practice as appropriate (for example, National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses, American Nurses Association, National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Specialties). * Life Support Certifications: BLS from AHA or Red Cross is required * Security: Must be able to pass a Government background check and obtain a Government security clearance.

Oregon only – If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings! Requirements 18 years+ Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely. Overview Island Health – Per Diem CRNA Island Hospital is looking for CRNAs for a Per Diem role in an independent anesthesia practice. This Level 2 Stroke and Level 3 Trauma Center has been addressing the healthcare needs of the community for over 60 years. Services offered include cardiac rehabilitation, family and internal medicine, cancer care, gynecology and obstetrics, diagnostic imaging, sports and spine care, surgery, urology, pediatrics, PT, pulmonary rehab, and more. The hospital handles approximately 6,000 cases annually (Main OR: 2,803, Endo: 2,756, and OB: 438). Benefits for CRNAs $175/hr. Malpractice Cost, Malpractice provided and paid by Company - W2 ONLY Malpractice Limits, 1 mil/5 mil Termination Notice, 90 days Travel and Lodging Stipend Available Responsibilities of the CRNAs Case mix: General, blocks, OB, Ortho, Uro, Gyn, podiatry, spines, GI, ENT and Peds (No heads, hearts or vascular) 3 ORs, 1 Endo, and OB coverage for 3 labor rooms. Call: On average, call one night per week and one weekend per month. Not required to stay in-house. Post-call: On pager until noon, covering OB and breaks if needed.
