Job Details Bronchoscopy Procedural Nurse: The function provides patient care through assessment and monitoring for all phases of bronchoscopic and lung biopsy procedures. Coordinate and Performance Improvement functions related to the pulmonary patient population. Assists in patient care and testing by performing nursing, technical and clerical functions associated with the Bronchoscopy Suite. Participates in clinical research studies performing nursing, technical and clerical functions. The position includes but is not limited to, the following essential functions. Job Description Job Duties and Requirements: a. Mandatory Education: Complete yearly mandatory education in MyJeff Hub. b. Mandatory certification: Complete all continuing education to maintain credentials and BLS and ACLS certifications. c. EPIC: Complete all assigned Epic Education d. Maintain supply inventory: Order supplies, submit purchase requests, and maintain par levels. Count drugs and keep appropriate logs according to hospital policy. e. Scheduling: Schedules patients for procedures. Organize scheduling with physician schedules to accommodate contaminated cases, emergencies, and routine operations. Make internal and external transportation arrangements. f. Documentation and Charging: Charge for all supplies in the EMR and document in the procedure encounter. g.
