Monitors patient’s response to anesthesia and analgesia to maintain patient safety. Directs recovery care related to anesthesia and analgesia until patient is discharged per PPGNHAIK protocols. Identifies clinical emergencies and institutes appropriate measures. Maintains detailed records of all medications administered, and patient's response. Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standard; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following agency’s philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, and other governing agency regulations, and works with Health Center Managers in the maintenance of health center-based quality programs.
