Responsibilities may include: Client Support & Care Perform client wellness checks to ensure their well-being. Assist clients with completing admission documents as needed. Help train other caregivers on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in the client's home. Provide non-medical support to agency service recipients. Compliance & Documentation Be familiar with and follow all rules, policies, and procedures related to service delivery. Submit all required documentation accurately and on time. Adhere to the individual service plan for each recipient. Maintain strict confidentiality of all client records and information unless authorized by written consent. Safety & Reporting Immediately report any incidents of injury involving the service recipient or yourself to your supervisor. Report any suspected abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities and your supervisor. Caregiver Job Duties & Qualifications Job Duties As a Charis Hearts Caregiver, you will provide Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) as outlined in the Personal Support Plan. Responsibilities may include: Personal Care Assistance: Bathing, dressing, assistance with walking, hygiene, grooming, and help with eating. Meal Preparation & Household Tasks: Cooking meals, washing dishes, laundry, and general housekeeping. Home Maintenance & Cleaning: Dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning windows, making the bed, emptying garbage, and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas. Companionship & Support: Engaging with clients to enhance their emotional well-being. Qualifications To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Must have valid State ID/ Drivers License.
