Responsibilities: Assisting residents with ADL tasks including but not limited to: assisting with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, oral care, ambulation, transfers, serving and assisting with meals, feeding, housekeeping, bed making, and laundry. Positively supports residents with emotional and behavioral issues Supports resident activity participation by assisting residents to/from activities, encouraging participation, and leading activities when asked. Must be willing to work with staff from all departments to ensure quality of care for residents Keep the environment safe and clean for residents Observe residents for safety and report all changes in resident condition effectively, accurately, and in a timely manner to LN on duty. Answer all resident pendant/pull cords immediately. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must have CNA / HCA certification Food Handlers, CPR/First Aid, Dementia certification Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check and TB test. Must be eighteen (18) years old. Maintains current CPR and first aid certification or willing to obtain. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret care plans. Assisted Living and Memory Care regulations familiarity. Ability to prioritize and organize assignments. The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Fields Senior Living and living the core values of Integrity, Excellence, Attention to Detail, Stewardship, and FUN! Physical Demands and Requirements: Maintain ability to lift 50 pounds; to stand or walk throughout most of the workday; and to frequently push, pull, bend, twist and reach. Must be willing to be active and on feet during entire work shift. Involves light to heavy physical activity performing non-strenuous and strenuous activities. Must have sufficient manual dexterity to work with the fingers and to reach/hand items. It's a PLUS if… You have memory care or assisted living experience as well as all Certifications and Licenses!
