About the unit

Our pediatric allergy and immunology specialists care for infants, children and adolescents with allergies, asthma and immune system disorders. Using state-of-the-art technology and best-practice medicine, we provide consultation, diagnosis, evaluation, management and treatment for a wide range of conditions. We will work closely with you and your child to effectively treat his or her pediatric allergic condition or immune system disorder.

About Outpatient Clinics

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of work

Responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients. Collaborates with the Nurse Manager and other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat the patient's responses to actual or potential health conditions. Assesses, monitors, detects, plans, and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and / or medical treatment.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree Nursing or Equivalent Required
Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) Preferred
MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
1 year of experience as an RN Preferred
