Responsibilities

This position involves the coordination of clinical management of the Watchman program across the entire continuum of care.
Manages and coordinates the Watchman program and assures thorough patient evaluation and education for Watchman procedures.
Serves as a facilitator for the hospital structural heart program and drives performance and improvement initiatives.
Acts as a resource and organizer for all areas caring for Watchman patients.
Provides and/or coordinates educational activities for all patients, and audits the billing, coding and documentation for accuracy and improvement.
Acts as a liaison on behalf of the Watchman program and the hospital to promote awareness and education .
Works with the Structural Heart Coordinator for cross training for other Structural Heart program.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Associate degree in nursing required,
1 year direct patient care required

Preferred job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
1-2 years previous experience with Structural Heart Programs preferred.
