Job Summary and Qualifications

The staff nurse serves as a member of the Nursing Care team who is ultimately responsible and accountable to the patient for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient focused, outcome oriented care. Will develop competencies for functioning safely in all areas of NICU and Nursery Services. Nursing plan of care will include newborns.

What qualifications you will need:

Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 180 days of employment start date
STABLE must be obtained within 180 days of employment start date
Graduate of a Nursing Program from an accredited school
Registered Nurse license in the state of Louisiana, or compact licensure
Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR for Healthcare Providers must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
