Hayward Area Memorial Hospital & Water’s Edge is currently seeking a highly organized, compassionate candidate to join our Emergency Department team! ER Nurses are the first line of defense when responding to patient injuries, trauma, or allergic reactions. They are always prepared to respond to emergencies, assist doctors in emergency medical care, and ensure a high quality of nursing standards are maintained. We are seeking candidates that are able to remain calm under pressure, display sound decision-making skills and be attentive to patient needs. Education of patient’s family and other health care team members is provided by the RN, incorporating health maintenance, disease process and discharge planning.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing or state approved school of Nursing.
Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS and PALS preferred
Hospital Nursing experience preferred

Department: Emergency Department

Shift Time: PM Shifts (1700-0500), every third weekend and holiday rotation

St. Davids Surgical Hospital is part of St. David’s North Austin Medical Center and is the first Level 4 Epilepsy Center in Central Texas for both adults and children.
