Job Description The Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) II is responsible for managing individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health in accordance with medical and nursing plans of care and established policies and procedures. The Clinical RN II collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members in the development, execution, and evaluation of the multidisciplinary plan of care. Assumes responsibility and accountability for effectively managing the care of a specialty patient population. Job Description This is a multi-skilled position requiring a variety of patient care skills and abilities. Under the direction and supervision of a licensed professional nurse (nurse) or Provider (physician or Advanced Practice Provider) the Emergency Department Technician provides care appropriate to the patient populations served. The ED Tech performs their duties based on the unit care delivery model. This role collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to deliver care as outlined by the nurse or provider. ED Technicians assist with blood and specimen collection, splint application, obtaining electrocardiograms and assisting with the use of physiologic monitoring devices.
