Overview

This position is responsible for providing acute nursing patient care in a safe, appropriate and effective manner under the direction of a Registered Nurse, in compliance with the LVN Practice Act.  Additional responsibilities include collecting patient information, timely and complete documentation of patient care and implementation of assigned tasks, medical orders and plan of care.  Integrates patient care standards into all patient care activities.

Qualifications

Education/Training/Experience            

Graduate of an LVN School of Nursing.

One year acute care experience as an LVN in Medical Surgical Services required.  In lieu of this experience, consideration will be made for an employee with strong education and associated experiential background and/or work history.
