Harborview Medical Center's Family Medicine Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a part-time Registered Nurse (RN).
WORK SCHEDULE
Harborview’s Family Medicine Clinic provides high-quality, comprehensive health care, offers personalized medicine that includes preventive care, as well as evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. The healthcare professionals are board-certified in family medicine and treat patients of all ages. Family physicians are specialists who complete a residency in family medicine. They receive broad training beyond general medicine in obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, internal medicine, surgery, psychiatry and geriatrics. The Harborview Family Medicine healthcare professionals provide a range of services including those specific to women's health. Other services include pregnancy tests, prenatal care, family planning, well-child exams, immunizations, hearing and vision screenings, psychiatric consultations, medication management and recommendations for continued psychiatric care.

As the region's only Level I Trauma and verified burn center, Harborview Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare facility owned by King County and operated by UW Medicine. WORK SCHEDULE
- 70% FTE, 28 hours/weekly
- Day Shift, 0845 to 1615 (4 x 7.0 hrs); Mon, Tue, or Thu off

- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care; provide direction to staff in learning situations
- Direct patients, families, visitors and staff members in emergencies and complex situations
- Initiate and evaluate overall care plan; involve patients and their families in care planning; initiate consultations and/or referrals and discharge planning
- May function as a primary nurse in delivery of patient care
- Assessment and nursing diagnosis of patients, care planning, implementation of safe nursing care, evaluation of patient responses to nursing care, patient education, patient advocacy, discharge and transfer planning
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
- At least two years of experience working as an RN, OB/GYN experience preferred
