Certified Medical Assistant / Medical Assistant Float - Full Time

Jennie Stuart Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant / Medical Assistant Float to support our Provider Based Clinic offices. This position provides patient care in an office setting under the supervision of a medical provider and supports daily clinical and administrative operations across multiple locations.

Job Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors
• Answer calls, take messages, and document appropriately in the medical record
• Maintain and update patient medical records
• Schedule appointments and assist with patient flow
• Process provider orders, refill requests, referrals, and other clinical requests
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
• Administer medications, collect lab samples, and perform wound care within scope of practice
• Provide patient education as directed by the provider

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required
• High school diploma required
• Previous experience in a medical practice required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must be willing to travel among Jennie Stuart Health Provider Based Clinic offices
• Medical assistant program completion preferred
• CMA or RMA certification preferred
