Compensation Range:
$79,100.00 - $119,646.00

Job Description:
Purpose of Job: Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by providing clinical leadership, oversight, and development for clinic‑based Registered Nurses to ensure safe, high‑quality, and top‑of‑license patient care as follows:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and oversees clinic-based nursing on-boarding and ongoing training.
- Responsible for clinical oversight of clinic-based RN’s including assuring relevant clinical knowledge, physical assessment skills, and appropriate use and understanding of CHAS policies and procedures. Responsible for sharing RN clinical performance with Clinic Administrators during evaluations.
- Creates and maintains guidelines, workflows, encounter plans, and order sets pertaining to the day-to-day activities of clinic-based RN’s, to ensure top of license work.
- Write, in conjunction with Director of Nursing, policies, procedures, and standing orders related to the roles of the clinic-based nurses.
- Collaborates with appropriate teams to design, implement and oversee workflows relating to quality measures and population health, ensuring top-of-license work.
- Works with Director of Nursing, Quality Improvement Specialist, and Director of Operations to monitor clinic-based RN peer review process and quality dashboards.
- Maintains clinical skills by functioning as clinic-based RN at least one day a week.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Minimum of bachelor’s degree in nursing required. Valid RN license in the state of Washington or Idaho required upon hire. Nursing experience, preferably within a community health setting required. Experience with case management preferred. Experience with electronic health records preferred.
Skills: Excellent customer service skills required. Strong oral and written communications skills required. Compassion for patients required. Ability to work well in team environment is required. Ability to multi-task in fast-paced work environment required. Ability to anticipate future needs required. Computer skills required. BLS (CPR/AED) required. Valid drivers’ license and insurance required. Commitment to supporting a safe and respectful environment is required.
Physical Demands
Must be able to move around the facility between one-third and two-thirds of the day, as well as sit at a workstation and in patient rooms. Using hands occurs over two-thirds of the day, while reaching with arms occurs less than one-third of the day. Communicating is also required over two-thirds of the day, while climbing, stooping, or crawling is minimal. Lifting up to 10 lbs. occurs about half the time, while up to and above 25 lbs. occurs only occasionally.
