Salary/Pay Scale: $56,607- $57,177 commensurate with experience
Position Summary/Purpose:
There is an opening for a Professional Registered Nurse at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School (grades 3-5).
The successful candidate will:
Provide Primary health care to students, promote wellness, and serve as a resource for health concerns in the school setting.

Responsibilities & Skills:
  • Provide first aid, assessment, and nursing care to students for injuries and illnesses.
  • Review the immunization status of all students.
  • Act as a liaison between the school and the health department.
  • Conduct New York State-mandated screenings of students for vision, hearing, and scoliosis.
  • Maintain health records for all students with sufficient documentation.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Principal, and/or Director of Special Education and Student Services.

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Hold a current New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • AED/CPR certified and maintains current certification.
