This RN position is based in a new and growing primary care clinic located at 5986 Main St., McCordsville, IN 46055. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with no weekends or holidays required. The role is primarily onsite, with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule after successful completion of training. The clinic currently includes 4 physicians, 1 APP, and 1 pharmacist. Primary responsibilities include phone triage, nurse visits, assisting in clinic as needed, and managing patient and provider messages. While there is no ongoing travel required, occasional onboarding or training at other locations may occur. The clinic also houses specialty providers; although their patient loads are not managed by this role, assistance may be required in emergency situations.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

No Weekends! No Holidays!

This position has potential to become hybrid, allowing work between home and the office

Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.

Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the health care team, to ensure quality of care. Performs sponge, needle, and sharp counts according to policy and procedure. Correctly collects and accurately labels specimens. Maintains inventory control of supplies and medications, including appropriate records and documentation. Reviews and verifies patient information, identification, and chart forms. Supervises and teaches members of the surgical team. Confines and contains sources of contaminations. Reviews and revises surgeon’s preference cards and communicates changes to appropriate personnel. Performs and records the order of Physician’s including administration of medications. Assists with patient care in the pre and post-operative areas as needed.
