Blue Ridge Health (BRH) is recruiting for community-minded Medical Providers to join our team on a PRN (as needed) basis.

BRH is a Federally Qualified Health Center with 28 locations serving communities across eight counties in the mountains of western North Carolina.

What You'll Do:

BRH has a multi-specialty provider base including pediatricians, family physicians, psychiatrists, family nursed practitioners, physician assistants, counselors, dentists, nutritionists and pharmacists allowing us to give our patients access to affordable care and medications. This multi-specialty approach also allows us to better address the needs of a diverse patient population of which 98% are classified low-income.

BRH is invested in the growth of future health care providers in our region. We are one of two Teaching Health Centers in North Carolina. BRH provides educational training for the Mountain Area Health Education Center Family Medicine Residency Program in Hendersonville, which supports 6 residents per year. In addition to Family Medicine Residents, we also have medical students and other learners rotate within our clinics, so a strong interest in medical education is necessary in supporting the future of healthcare in our region. We have an aligned organizational mission and support team dedicated to achieving exceptional quality for patients in all of our service areas. BRH participates in national and state provider loan repayment programs. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: * Degree/Education: Master's or doctoral degree in nursing. Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). * Certifications : The HCW shall hold and maintain BLS and ACLS. Must be through American Heart Association or American Red Cross guidelines. Certified in the specialty required by the TO as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the recognized national nursing certification organization for the specialty area of practice as appropriate (for example, National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses, American Nurses Association, National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Specialties). * Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service- specific credentialing.
