Summary: The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care for a defined group of patients according to the hospital's philosophy of patient care and standards of professional nursing practice. The registered nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for judgment and actions, maintains clinical competency and exercises informed judgment in delegating nursing care to others. The Registered Nurse promotes patient, family and staff learning.
Education: Completion of a nursing program along with a current Rhode Island nursing license.
BLS required. ACLS required. PALS required.
Experience: 1-2 years previous nursing experience preferred. Previous Emergency Room experience required.
