Travel School Registered Nurse | Fort Leavenworth, Kansas

Provide essential nursing care in an elementary school setting in Fort Leavenworth, KS, supporting students with diverse needs. This travel assignment requires a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver focused, one-on-one care to a student with a tracheostomy, as well as administer multiple tube feedings to other students throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized nursing care to a student with a trach, monitoring and managing medical needs with precision and compassion.
  • Perform several tube feedings daily for multiple students, ensuring safety and adherence to care plans.

  • Document nursing services accurately and comply with school health policies.
  • Provide support to students with a variety of disabilities in a school environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Kansas LPN licensemandatory for this role.
  • Experience working in a public school setting is strongly preferred.
  • Strong skills in trach care and tube feeding procedures.

Location and Schedule:
