Travel School Registered Nurse | Concord, Massachusetts

A healthcare professional with a valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Massachusetts license is needed to provide specialized nursing care in a school setting in Acton, MA. This position involves working with medically complex middle and high school students, requiring knowledge in seizure monitoring, G-tube feeding, medication administration, and general nursing duties.

Location: Acton, MA (Travel assignment)

Schedule:

Monday through Friday
7:45 AM to 2:45 PM (early dismissal at noon on Wednesdays)

Caseload:

Approximately 10 students
Age group: Middle and high school students with complex medical needs

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage seizures and provide immediate care if needed
Administer medications and manage G-tube feedings according to individual care plans
Deliver general nursing care and health assessments for students
Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive student care
Maintain accurate health records and comply with school policies and regulations

Desired Qualifications:

Current Massachusetts RN or LPN license
Experience in pediatric or school nursing, particularly with medically complex students
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
