About the Role:
The Case Management Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in overseeing and guiding a team of case managers and social workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient services. This position ensures an appropriate level of care, supports accurate and timely documentation, and promotes optimal reimbursement. The Case Manager Supervisor collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in case management or a related client service role.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of case management principles, practices, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with diverse populations and multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with electronic case management systems and data reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement training programs.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a team of case managers by providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Monitor case management activities to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve case plans, documentation, and patient progress reports to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to coordinate services and resources for clients.
- Investigate and resolve issues promptly to support patient care and department operations.
- Monitor observation status of patients in collaboration with nurse managers.

The Case Management Supervisor utilizes strong leadership and communication skills daily to effectively manage and motivate their team, ensuring a clear understanding of case objectives and organizational expectations. Analytical skills are essential for reviewing case documentation and identifying areas for improvement or intervention. Organizational skills enable the supervisor to manage multiple cases and administrative tasks efficiently, maintaining compliance with policies and deadlines. Proficiency with case management software and data systems supports accurate tracking and reporting of patient outcomes.
