Job Summary

The Interventional Radiology (IR) E&M Nurse Practitioner will provide inpatient consultation and management, daily rounding on established IR patients, assist with admission and discharge for primary IR patients and with care coordination for all IR patients across three campuses. This role converts currently unbilled clinical work into billable E&M services, improves timeliness of consultations, and enhances continuity of care for patients undergoing IR-managed therapies.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $105.50 - $138.63 (Hourly Rate).

Required Qualifications

Graduation from a California Board of Registered Nursing approved or verified school of nursing with a master’s degree in nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
Minimum 2 years of inpatient or acute care NP experience.
Ability to independently perform inpatient E & M assessments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in interventional radiology, surgery, hospital medicine, critical care, or oncology.
Experience with inpatient consult services.
Experience working in an academic medical center or large integrated health system.

License/Certification

Nurse Practitioner- Palliative/Hospice Care Full Job Description Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Home Health- Nurse Practitioner is responsible for assisting in the expedient multidisciplinary care of patients for Hoag Hospital and its affiliates, coordinating seamless patient care from admission through discharge in the Home Health setting. Providing supplemental medical care to patients with a focus on quality and patient experience, the Nurse Practitioner can perform history and physical exams, diagnoses and treats medical problems, orders and interprets diagnostic and laboratory tests, performs minor procedures and facilities the discharge process.
