Summary:
We are seeking a temporary, full‑time benefited Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager to join our Ambulatory Services – Transplant & Cellular Therapy (TCT) clinic, supporting both the Transplant & Cellular Therapy (TCT) and Leukemia Centers.
The Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for administering, directing, and coordinating patient care within the assigned area(s). This includes managing personnel, fiscal, and material resources in collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Manager during assigned work hours. The role also involves regular interaction with departmental and organizational staff to ensure a collaborative approach that supports the mission of the organization.
The starting annual salary for this position is $125,454, which includes a comprehensive benefits package. This listed salary reflects potential compensation for the role; the actual offer may vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.

Required Education and Experience
License and Certification Requirement
1. License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
2. Certification or eligibility for Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time nursing experience in an oncology support setting including one (1) year of nursing supervisory/lead experience; or
2. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time nursing experience in an acute care support setting including one (1) year experience in an oncology support setting and one (1) year of nursing supervisory/lead experience; or
3. Associate’s degree in Nursing and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time nursing experience in an oncology support setting including one (1) year of nursing supervisory/lead experience; or
4. Associate’s degree in Nursing and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time nursing experience in an acute care support setting including one (1) year experience in an oncology support setting and one (1) year of nursing supervisory/lead experience.
NOTE:
1. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the appropriate certification within eighteen (18) months of their appointment to this title.
2. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing within eighteen (18) months of their appointment to this title.
3. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within six (6) months of their appointment to this title.
4. Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have prior oncology, ambulatory, and management experience. A BSN, OCN certification, and current BLS/ACLS credentials are also preferred.
